Marine VHF in this pack is a coastal listening aid: channel 16 calling/distress, DSC on 70, AIS data channels, and public markers members have confirmed. It is not a GMDSS course and not a ship-station licence.
Do not call a vessel from the sofa. Do not paste distress audio into the forum. Place matters — the Solent is not the Clyde.
